EXCITing News in the Pagan World of Entertainment!

The Film: “Between the Worlds”

Something new is in the works, a breakthrough Independent pagan film entitled “Between the Worlds.”  What’s more... YOU can possibly be a part of it!  Scripting and musical score is well underway for this exciting new pagan film; casting is soon to follow.  Based on a true view of paganism, and a film that may be considered for entry into the Sundance and Cannes Film Festival showcases in the future, this is not to be your typical Hollywood portrayal of witches, as in “The Craft” or “Practical Magic.”

 Between the Worlds
”A journey from mundane to the Magickal... Barbara Lanton was your average American Girl; she had her trials, like finding out as a child that she was terminally ill. But she had someone watching over her. As a young woman, she had a job she barely tolerated and now she has a highly preachy Pentecostal woman as her new supervisor. Then she meets the new girl in the office, and things begin to change, This is a fun, heart warming view into one woman’s life when she finds Witchcraft, magick, and the Gods. This film is being made by the pagan community for the Pagan community.”

This film is starting from the ground up, and will be showcased at pagan bookstores and metaphysical shops around the country, and possibly eventually even the world, distributed to festival organizers, storeowners, and more.  This could be an important project to be involved in.  The film producer is currently seeking individuals for these areas; to include `lead and supporting actor/actress roles:

Looking for 3 specific women:
Leading role, tall multifaceted brunette, can go from cheerful to brooding with ease
The protagonist Pentecostal supervisor, less than 5 feet 9, streaked hair with gray
The New Witch/Girl-in-the-Office must be mysterious, wise and bubbly, red head or blonde.
(Lead actress not over 40. Pentecostal supervisor, closer to 45, and the witch should be in her upper to mid 30s. The film producers will start casting in about February.)

Also, they will be seeking individuals with experience in movie photogrpahy/filmogaphy, sound, lights, staging, props, hair and makeup, site scouting, craft services, and more.  If you think that you have what it takes to be involved in this kind of project, please contact: Silvanus Treewalker-  sylvanus93@yahoo.com  If you do not happen to have film skills, but are still interested in being a part of this magick, and fell it calling to you, see the last section on “fundraising efforts” for a clue on how to get your name in the film credits, and more!

The Pagan Perspectives Internet Show

Sylvanus also hosts an stimulating pagan internet talk show called “Pagan Perspectives” on Sundays from 2-4 PM.  There are upcoming interviews about the film, “Between the Worlds,” and many other exciting topics in the pagan world of today, in his new series, entitled “Modern Pagan Pioneers.”  Featured, among others, will be Circle Sanctuary founder Selena Fox on December 5th.  Then, on the following Sunday, Dec 12th, the program will feature an interview with Singer/Songwriter Beltana Spellsinger of Wolvenwold.  (Shows are also available for download if you miss the live broadcast.)  During this discussion, Beltana and Silvanus will chat about Bel’s home and the ten year anniversary of hosting pagan festivals on her family’s land and pagan site, Wolvenwold. They will also discuss Beltana’s solo career and her involvement with Spellsinger and her previous bands, SONA and BellaWyck, her art, writing, the pagan community, and her involvement in creating some of the music for the upcoming pagan film, “Between the Worlds!”

Blogging...

Blessings, Dearly Enchanted...

I am new to blogging, overall, but I do promise it will be interesting. ;-)

I have decided that with all of the Vampyre books, movies and documentaries I've been saturating my brain with over the last few months, that I need to do a Vampyre/Supernatural type of blog, too, as I am in the process of writing my books.  See, my books will be semi-fiction, but I do eventually want to incorporate some vampyre stories too.  The vamps will either tie in with the other stories, or apart from them, I haven't figured how that will work yet.  In any case, I'll start them (the vamp blogs) here, then probably transfer them over another blog eventually, so that folks who want to read one and not the other, can do so more easily.

Well, my laptop is working now, and is excellent, thanks to Andrew, and I have just purchased a new keyboard for my desktop, so that my misspellings won't be so bad to correct after each paragraph now.  (My desktop keyboard got jinky, and it was not letting me post double letters, the spacebar wasn't working properly, and so on! Urgh.)  Now all I have to do is get it plugged in and working, and I'll be all set.!

I truly, honestly DO need to both find a website designer that can help me, and to learn how to do all of this stuff myself, better than I am doing it now.  I am currently going through Cpanel to do everything, on the Wolvenwold site (my home website, fyi, @: www.wolvenwold.com and my Spellsinger (music) site: www.spellsinger.us and it has been frustrating, to say the least.  Now my server (Draknet) is being sold to another company (A Small Orange), and everything is getting transferred and changed over.  It shouldn't affect me too much, I'll just have to keep up on their blogs to see what I need to do, but meanwhile... manifest, manifest!  Help with my websites!  Help Help!  (I may ultimately be doing a lot of video tutorial watching.)

Anyhow!  Plans for the upcoming weekend!

New music..., we'll be over at the Magyar Magick studio (AKA Johny's place) to do some more recording, and bonus... my sister is visiting!  (Yay!)  We haven't see her in a very long time now.  (We miss U Kittin!)  Also, with her, will come Amory, a wonderful guy and a magnificent violin player, who has agreed to do some tracks for one or two of the tunes on "The Darke," my awesome upcoming solo album.  Excited, excited. When I return, I'll start hashing through my recorded (Yay DVR technology!) Vampyre programs and recently read books, and do some blogging on things that go bump in the night...

Mwa ah ahhhh...

Also, I have an online interview at the Pagan Perspectives show over at: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/pagan-perspectives on December the 12th!  Don't forget to tune in, where you can listen to the interview and to some of my tunes, (new and olde!) and even call in with questions, if you like.;-)  It'll be a blast talking with Sylvanus, and it's sure to be a good time.  You can download it for later listening, too!

There are interesting things brewing with a new pagan FILM, as well, (facilitated by the same Sylvanus Teewalker of the internet radio show) to be called "Between the Worlds," for which I shall have the honor of writing a portion of the soundtrack.  Sweet.  We'll talk about the film, the music, the land at Wolvenwold, my life as an Earth stewardess, and more, so come on over and hang out with us online.  Hey!  Perhaps you'd even like to try out for a part in the movie?  You can find out lots of info about this project on my Facbook page.  In fact, I'll repost that same post here, in another blog, in just a minute!  Hope to see lots of familiar faces get involved with this.

Love and Peace, and Blessings of Light, Light and Darkness,

Beltana Spellsinger

Bel Spellsinger's New Blog

Bel's New Blog

Well, here 'tis, folks! and...

I promise it will be entertaining. ;-)

What am I currently cooking up in Beltana's cauldron of wytchiness?

A new studio album, with Spellsinger, to be entitled "The Darke." Progress is moving along nicely. Working on my new website, as well. http://www.spellsinger.us

A new book, from an olde story, that I started writing years ago. It will be a series. Some of it will go along with the albums. There will be three albums in this trilogy... and an unlimited amount of books. It will be all about being a modern day Wytche.

A new home, an earth home, to be started next spring.

An interview, on December 12th, 2010, on "Pagan Perspectives Radio," where I shall woo with song and seduction... Go here:

Oh yes, more to come, and it will be soon.

Let me know your thoughts... your dreams... and your fantasies...

Yours, in Love, Light and Darkness,

Beltana Spellsinger
